Benefits of Novum Walls
Like Redi-Rock®, Novum Wall® is a complete retaining wall solution, but uses large concrete blocks (approx. 425 to 610 lbs. each) that stack up like Legos. Here are four unique features about the product:
1. Novum Wall can go taller without tie-back.
NW is capable of gravity walls up to 6’ in height, which exceeds the maximum height of SRW gravity walls. NW can also be reinforced using geo-grid to reach much taller heights.
2. Novum Wall is a machine-placed system.
This speeds up the installation process making NW retaining walls easier, safer and more economical to build.
3. Novum Wall uses wet-cast, first purpose concrete with 4,000 PSI min.
This provides a freeze-thaw rating giving NW greater durability for longer life span.
4. Novum Wall is a smaller “big block.”
This means NW can fit into tighter spaces where smaller equipment needs to be used due to space and/or access constraints.
Novum Wall Specs
Novum Wall is 9” tall x 46 1/8” wide (left to right) and 20” deep (front to back… plus an additional 2” to 5” for the face texture).
The different units vary in weight from 325 pounds for half blocks up to 610 pounds for full blocks (+/- 30 pounds depending on face texture).
